Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum

The symbol of Provincetown, the Pilgrim Monument was built to commemorate the "first landing" of the Mayflower Pilgrims in Provincetown and their signing of the Mayflower Compact. The Provincetown Museum has permanent exhibits retain the charm of an old-fashioned history museum highlighting the arrival of the Mayflower Pilgrims, the town’s rich maritime history, the early days of modern American theater in Provincetown, and the building of the monument.

The Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) houses and exhibits one of the most important 20th Century American art collections. Established in 1914, by prominent artists such as Charles Hawthorne and Oscar Gieberich, PAAM’s mission has always been to exhibit and collect art works of merit, and to educate the public in the arts.

The Workshop
Victor Powell uses Old World techniques and meticulous craftsmanship to create a full line of luxury handmade leather sandals, bags and accessories. All bags are hand stitched from fine English harness leathers, exotic hides, and soft domestics. He has been commissioned by renowned fashion designers like Michael Kors and has been featured on television and in various publications.

Alice M. Brock is the former owner and chef of the world-famous Alice's Restaurant - immortalized both in Arlo Guthrie's song and the film by the same name.
